Welcome to Gwendraeth Environmental Education!

Willow for sale - we have over 30 varieties suitable for basketry, biomass, floristry and living willow sculpture. We sell cuttings at 30p each and bundles start from £5.

The Willow skills share   (help coppice the willow in exchange for willow and basketry lessons) has started and some lovely things have been made, this year it will be on thursday or friday please email staci (info@g-e-e.org) if you are interested.

 

GEE is a community co-operative whose aims are

We provide courses and workshops in
  • Green woodworking including pole-lathing and willow weaving
  • Recycled arts and crafts
  • Weaving, spinning and knitting
  • Woodland management  & tree ID
  • Nature awareness, birdwatching, permaculture gardening
  • Cob, strawbale and shelter building
 
Our site at Blaen Y Wern can also be hired for your events, including two workshop spaces and 22 acres of woods and meadow.
